WHAT IS MASSAGE THERAPY?

Massage therapy is a combination of techniques used to help with a wide range of conditions and various health-related purposes, including relieving pain, rehabilitating sports injuries, reducing stress, increasing relaxation, addressing anxiety and depression, and aid general wellness.

WHAT IS MASSAGE THERAPY FOR?

Massage therapy is proven to have numerous health benefits. These include:
  • Improving blood circulation
  • Aiding in muscle recovery
  • Repairing the nervous system
  • Relieving stress
  • Improving posture
  • Alleviating pain

MASSAGE THERAPY TECHNIQUES

There are many types of massage therapy techniques, each of which has its specifics for a particular case. Our therapists will be happy to select the most appropriate massage for your specific situation that will benefit your body, specifically:

Muscle kneading.

Muscle kneading involves the use of rhythmic movements to different parts of the body. Doing this and applying different types of pressure helps to relax and relieve tension in the muscles.

Swedish Massage

This massage technique is one of our therapists' most popular and wellknown methods. Swedish massage improves circulation and helps you relax and get a feel for your body.

Myofascial Therapy

This kind of massage focuses on the fascia of the body. Fascia is the connective tissue found between the skin and muscles. By looking at the fascia specifically, we can work on your muscle balance and reduce muscle tension.

Trigger Point Therapy

Trigger point therapy aims to find areas of the body commonly referred to as knots. By applying pressure to these areas, we can stimulate physiological responses that will help reduce muscle tenseness.

Friction Technique

The friction technique is usually used to help treat the connective tissue of your body. It aims to reduce tension while increasing the range of body motion.
